In the TED Talk "My Road Trip Through the Whitest Towns in America" speaker, Rich Benjamin, talks about his two year journey through the typically "whitest" neighborhoods in America. He went to three different counties, and he learned something new in each county. Benjamin noticed some of the very accurate white stereotypes such as golfing, fishing and the love of guns. As an African American, he also noticed some not so positive things. Many people were actively racist, paranoid around him and totally ignorant. I feel extremely embarrassed towards my own culture. I really enjoyed his speech because it made me realize there is still active racism all around America. We have advanced so much as a country, but when it comes to living with different cultures and races we are very separated.
